the Seattle story

Alright, here's what happened:

It's Friday June 4th, 1992. This involves Lester, a 7th generation Gangrel (Scott), Ben Johnson, a 7th generation Brujah (Bryan), and Petaro, a 7th Generation Malkavian (Alex).

This all started when Lester noticed a headline on the local paper: "Ben Johnson Security Wants to Turn Greenspace into Parkinglot."

Lester goes to discuss this with Ben, and enters town as a wolf. Petaro notices a wolf walking into Seattle, and decided to see what was up. (He was rather disappointed when he realized it was a vampire, and not a talking wolf). Lester, after yelling at Ben (who was on the top floor of his apartment building), throws a brick. (Ben dodged the brick, then went to grab a gun). On his way to his private armory, he notices that his little sister Selene (who is his ward), is missing from her room. There's a knife through her pillow with a note attached. ("Bring $5,000,000 to the Park Avenue Tavern by Sunday.") Ben freaked out, then ran to his security company, leaving the window on the top floor wide open.

Petaro tried to run along with Ben, but Ben was just too fast (Celerity). So Petaro, who got mad, changed him into a monster (Obfuscate).

Ben enters his company, raving like a lunatic and freaks his retainers, Eddie and Gordon, out really badly. Gordon, who came in later, managed to figure out that it was Ben.

In the meantime, Lester and Petaro (who were hanging out at the Park Avenue Tavern), decided to go to the Security Company. When they get there, Lester says he can heal Ben (at Petaro's suggestion). Afterwards, Petaro again changed Ben into a monster (but he looks even worse this time, see picture at the top of this page), then offered him a pill that will stop the changes.

Afterwards, they all make plans to find Selene.

Saturday night (the 5th of June)

Ben goes hunting, and Petaro wants to masquerade. Both find a free rave at a local bar (for new bands). Petaro masquerades as a glam rocker. Ben dances with someone, then frenzies while trying to feed on her. (He killed her and 3 other people). This clears out the bar.

Both Ben and Petaro head to Ben's apartment where Lester is waiting. All three go and view the security tapes from the night before. (Ben has cameras in all four corners of Selene's room. The cameras are in colour and have sound). They see the door open silently, then Selene crumples to her bed, then disappears.

The three discuss possible plans of action. Ben phones Eddie, asking about the tavern, and on a suggestion from Petaro, asks if there are any known Assamites in the area. Eddie finds a website (www.seattleassamite.com) with an Assamite's rant; the Assamite's name is Conrad, and he lives on the North side of town.

Petaro took this opportunity to turn into a crazy prophet guy (and he still had a guitar that he ran out of the bar with).

They go to the North Side with a very powerful amp. They find the remains of the rave, as everyone went to a park that was as far away from the bar as possible. Petaro starts playing (extremely badly), then blamed the Seattle Assamite for writing the songs. Conrad, who was outraged, confronted him. They ended up talking, and Conrad told Petaro one name only: Global Teck.

They go to check out the tavern, but it's closing (it's 2am). So they all decide to go home. Petaro arrives at his apartment (which is across the street from Ben's building) and sees cops swarming Ben's place. He goes to find out what happened. As he's talking to them, Ben shows up and tells them who he is. Turns out 9 cops were killed in his building (as the first three floors are all traps). A SWAT team also found his stash of highly illegal weapons.

They attempted to arrest Ben. Petaro tried to vanish him from the mind's eye, but failed. So Ben ran to a hotel on the edge of town (he made it because of his Celerity), and made some arrangements with Eddie. (Mostly about money).

Petaro also found out where the Global Teck factory is (he asked a cop), and is planning on going there.

Saturday Night (continued)

Lester decided to stroll around town. Petaro goes to Global Teck and encounters two security guards (one is quite competent, the other is not). After chatting for a bit, he goes to an alley, changes into Ben, then goes and kicks the incompetent one in the nuts, then runs away screaming "Ben Johnson strikes again!" while laughing like Spongebob Squarepants. The security guards go into their "guard hut" and call the cops.

Meanwhile, Lester strolls to Ben's appartment and sees the cops plus one SWAT team cleaning up. He asks a cop what happened; the cop explains, then gets called over and finds out about the hoofing incident.

Petaro made it into the Global Teck Warehouse yard, and is stacking boxes so he can get into an open window on the third floor. At the same time, he is also distracting the competent security guard by kicking the fence (as he's obfuscated).

Lester, heading back to his tree, is hit by a Geo, driven by a car thug. The car thug shoots at him, but Lester gets away.

Petaro gets into the office of the Global Teck Manager Frances Sheridan. Paul is in the office next door. He hears the printer going (as Petaro printed out "Ben Johnson was here.") Petaro then messes up some of Paul's papers when Paul went to investigate. Paul alerts security and gets Bob (the incompetent one); after hearing Bob's story, he hangs up and returns to his office to find it ransacked. He thinks he sees someone run out, so he follows them and trips down the stairs. Petaro takes this opportunity to grab some stuff from Frances' desk (CD's) and scatters them in Paul's office. He then knocks over a filing cabinet in her office, then leaves.

The cops arrive, then secure the area, sending Paul home.

Sunday, June 6th

Ben, watching TV because he's bored, sees a newscast about him. It seems he's wanted for posession of illegal weapons, the murder of four civillians and nine police officers, breaking and entering, assaulting a security guard, vandalism, and theft.

Paul goes to work to find out he has been given an indefinate leave of absence, as they know Ben Johnson vandalized the building, but it's possible that Paul had stolen some of Frances' personal items.

Lester, Petaro and Paul all meet up on the street outside of Petaro's apartment building (Paul also lives in the building). They all decide to head to the Park Avenue Tavern. Petaro changes into a seemingly homosexual man.

Ben goes to the Tavern with $10,000 (as that was all he was able to come up with). Paul, recognizing Ben from a newsreport on a TV in the Tavern, goes up and punches him. Ben heals himself, then goes to attack Paul. A lady comes from the upper floor of the Tavern (the Tavern is like the LU Outpost) and stops the fight by giving Ben a derangement (regression), using her voice.

She then ushers Ben upstairs to discuss the money, seating him at a table with an Arabic woman, an old man and a little boy. Conrad and the car thug (who is unknown to Ben) are at the next table. Paul, Lester and Petaro (who is now masquerading as an average guy) all head upstairs as well.

A cop shows up; as he is heading upstairs, Petaro turns Ben into a monster. The cop is tripped by Paul; Lester stalls for time by helping the cop up. Petaro then turns the cop into a monster. In all of the following confusion, Ben runs to Global Teck. The Arabic woman and the cop, followed closely by Petaro and Lester, all run after Ben, while Paul is approached by the old man. The old man offers him a lift, so they drive to Global Teck in his limo.

Ben sacks Bob (the incompetent security guard), then enters the warehouse, chased closely by the Arabic woman. Petaro and Lester then approach. Petaro turns into Ben for a few seconds to sack Bob again.

Paul and the old man show up. The old man gets a megaphone and asks Ben to surrender. Ben refuses. Then the cop shows up and demands that Ben surrender. Ben jumps out a window and runs to his apartment.

Paul, Lester and Petaro all go with the old man in his limo to Ben's building. Ben comes down, but refuses to go in the limo, so the old man uses his Thaumaturgy (Modus) to make Ben go with them.

Back at the Tavern, everything is cleared up: they return Selene in exchange for Ben's security business, the cop says he will clear Ben's name as a gesture of good faith from Global Teck, Petaro gets a bunny, Lester will be remembered for next time, and PAul gets his job back.

(Sunday night, cont.)

As Petaro is going home, he finds some grafiti on his appartment which contains the following note (in Malkavian Scrawl): Martha missing, suspect G.T. meet me later, Kris.

Martha is Petaro's sire, so he goes to meet Kris after first changing his aura to a human's with true faith.

Meanwhile, Ben Johnson has gotten Selene back and is told to leave the Tavern. So he starts searching the city for a 24 hour karate place so he can register Selene for a self defence class. (He is actually walking through all of Seattle).

Petaro, using the Malkavian Madness Network, finds Kris (after being jumped by some bums). He changes his aura back after scaring Kris, then they talk. Petaro decides to check out Global Teck (and he changes his aura back to a human with true faith, while masquerading as a pious priest). He gets the competent security guard, James, to show him around. Petaro only saw one person back away from his pious priest while he was touring Global Teck (Jennifer).

At the same time, Ben gets lost (but still thinks he knows where he is). Then his derangement (regression) hits.

Petaro then heads to the airport after James tells him a bit about the Vansouver site. He finds out there's a flight to Vancouver at 11:30 pm tomorrow (monday) night.

Ben somehow manages to find his way safely to his apartment.

Monday, June 7th

Ben Johnson wakes up in a sack, staked.

Petaro went looking for blood. He found a girl and a guy. He gets blood from them, masquerading as Ben.

He then heads to the airport. He follows the pilot into the washroom and clubs him with the top of the toilet. Then he masquerades as the pilot, while changing the pilot into Ben Johnson.

Petaro then strolls onto the plane.

(the plane incident)

While on the plane:

Petaro walks into the cockpit and informs the co-pilot that he has to fly, and his job depends on his performance along with the lives of the people on the plane. Petaro also says he won't help much, so get the plane going and level them off. Then Petaro started reading the flight manual, adding comments like "oh, they don't have propellers anymore," and "oh, the wings don't flap." While still reading, he grabbed a paraschute and strapped it on.

Then he yells at the co-pilot, "You fool! Level off!" then yanks the controls sharply right. The co-pilot freaked out and leveled the plane off. Next, Petaro drank warm milk and pretended to pass out on top of the controls, sending the plane into a steep dive; the co-pilot pushed Petaro off and leveled off again.

Petaro then pretends to wake up and the co-pilot explained what happened. So Petaro went on the intercom and said: "Passengers, this is just reassurance that someone is up here. Yes, all of you don't need to worry about - FLIP TAPE NOW! *rewinding noises* - and this concludes the meal portion of our flight. We will be taking off shortly."

The co-pilot tries to reassure the passengers, but Petaro grabs the intercom back and says he's a terrorist from someplace in Asia. The co-pilot grabs the radio and says "We are NOT being hi-jacked by terrorists. The captain is just bonkers."

Petaro, again in the captain's voice, says, "Everyone, please remain calm; they are armed and dangerous."

A struggle for the radio ensues. Then Petaro, again as the terrorist, says "Everyone, listen to the captain or we will be forced to slaughter him and the co-pilot."

Petaro then rips the intercom out, then stole the remaining paraschutes, turned into the terrorist, ran back to the co-pilot while upping his strength, knocked the poor co-pilot out, ripped the steering wheels out, pushed random buttons (releasing Ben, who was in a sack in the cargo hold), ran out and yelled "Ben Johnson strikes again!" while pretending to rip off a mask and obfuscating into Ben. He then throws open the emergency door, chucks the other paraschutes out and jumps out.

(Monday Night, cont.)

Prior to Petaro entering the airport, he had obfuscated as Ben and insulted Lester, then ran off. So Lester chased after "Ben" down an alley, but failed to find him.

Ben, who was falling from the cargo hold, luckily hit a river (go Entropy!), which dislodged the stake. He breaks out of the chains and sack, and attempts to swim to shore. He then falls down a waterfall.

Lester goes into the tavern. He talks to Jennifer, then decides to go to Vancouver. He gets a taxi and intimidates the driver into driving to Vancouver.

Petaro lands and finds a cottage. He chats with the owner, Garry; Garry's pupil Faith pulls up in the driveway, dragging Ben (who is in torpor from the waterfall). Garry heals Ben, who then attempts to leave, but Faith enchants Ben so he will keep coming back to the cottage.

Lester's taxi turns a corner and hits a moose. The driver is killed instantly. So Lester decides to loot the body and taxi, then starts walking until he finds a driveway.

Ben finally gives up and enters the cottage. He is given blood, but frenzies, tripping over furniture as everyone else leaves.

Lester walks up the driveway and recognizes Petaro. Soon after, Ben calms down, and Garry gets him a drink of blood. Garry tries to figure out whats happening (especially about Ben), and finds out that Ben is a murderer. He then remembers about the plane crash and goes to search for survivors.

Lester approaches Ben. Ben proceeds to make Lester mad, so Lester punches him. Ben gets ready to fight, but Faith makes him trip and land on a stick (which acts as a stake). Lester goes to kill him, but Faith makes him trip and fall in the well. She then asks him not to kill Ben.

Garry returns and is torn about healing Ben again. He decides to go to Seattle and talk to Kris (who has Auspex) to decide whether or not to heal Ben.

Back in Seattle, Kris discovers Ben just wants to torture and kill Lester, so he advises against healing him. Suddenly, cops surround them and take Kris Lester, Ben and Petaro (they took Petaro because he refused to freeze when they told him to). They are locked in a van, which seems to leave Seattle.

About an hour and a half later, Petaro obfuscates everyone, (after first destroying the camera in the van), then kicks the doors open. The cops stop the van and jump out to see what happened. Petaro and company jump out, then drive the van into the bush. Petaro then destroys the van, then everyone hides in the back. (They are still invisible.)

Tuesday, June 8

Everyone wakes up. Petaro then changes everyone's appearance. Then they all jump out of the van. The cops are extremely suspicious, but decide to escort them all to Global Teck in Vancouver. (They are now in unmarked cars, so they will not be questioned at the border).

Once in Vancouver, Petaro kicks the door open, runs into an alley and changes into a bum. Lester follows, and is changed into himself. He tells the cops the two ran down the alley, then walks away.

Petaro drains a bum dry, and leaves a Ben Johnson was here note.

Ben, who was hand cuffed after attacking a cop, is brought to the 45th floor of the Global Teck skyscraper. There, he is escorted into Evan Stewart's office. (Evan Stewart is the Jr. Vice President of Global Teck). Ben sacks Evan, but is subdued by the two guards who brought him upstairs. (He bites one, then gets punched in the face).

Meanwhile, Lester and Petaro approach Global Teck. while Lester distracts the two competent security guards, while Petaro sacks the third (who is rather uncompetent), then obfuscates into Ben Johnson, yelling "Ben Johnson strikes again!" and laughs (like Spongebob Squarepants), while running away in a zig-zag.

The remaining two security guards call for back up, then open fire on Petaro (but they miss). Lester tells the guards that he doesn't feel safe, and asks to wait inside the skyscraper until he feels it's safe.

Petaro then goes into an alley and becomes invisible, then sneaks into Global Teck. He is currently reading the directory.

*Giuseppe, a 12th generation Tzimisce, played by Greg

Petaro decides to go to the unmarked 39th floor. He turns into a businessman, and runs into two armed guards on the 39th floor. He tells them he's looking for the Latex Testing department, so they direct him to floor 36.

He goes to the 36th floor, turns into Ben Johnson, then becomes invisible. He heads back to the 39th floor and ups his strength. Once there, Petaro grabs one of the guards by the ankles and uses him to hit the other guard in the head.

Now that the guards are knocked out, he kicks down the door to find a very large room with a combination of medieval torture equipment and modern scientific experimental (and torture) devices. Near the back of the room are people in gigantic glass test-tube things (like in Von Richter's lab from Cyber-Six). Everyone/thing imprisoned looks dead.

Meanwhile, Giuseppe is in Vancouver to buy Global Teck. His limos (he has two with him) pull up to the building and he gets out. He asks to see if the CEO is there. The guards say that she isn't, the only one present at the moment is the junior vice president, but you need to have an appointment after hours.

Giuseppe then bribes the three guards ($1000 each). The leader looks at the money, then says, "Sir, you are a few minutes late for your appointment. I'll buzz you up right now."

Petaro takes a mace and a torture headband thing and starts destroying the lab, including all of the "experiments" at the back of the room. (As he is leaving, he notices that there was a chart that said "Johnson, Selene.") He heads to the lobby as a businessman.

As Petaro is getting out of the elevator, he runs into Giuseppe. They make a deal:
P:Hey, you got the shit?"
G:Yeah.
P:You want 5 g's worth?
G: Oh yeah.
Giuseppe gives Petaro a fake number to get in touch with him tomorrow. Petaro writes it down in blood. (Giuseppe and Petaro have never met before this encounter).

Giuseppe goes to the 45th floor. He enters Evan's office as two guards drag a body out.

Petaro masquerades as Giuseppe. Uses the mace to smash in the remaining security guards' heads, then leaves the mace and jumps into a limo. He finds $100,000 in a duffle bag in the back. He then asks the driver to pull over and get out for a minute. Petaro turns into Ben and steals the limo. He drives into an alley and finds a bum. Offers him the car, then drinks him dry. He then leaves a "Ben Johnson strikes again" note on the bum, then totals the car and walks away, and gets a cab.

Meanwhile, Ben Johnson wakes up in the torture room. He sees the chart with "Johnson, Selene" written on it, along with her body, so he frenzies in a rage. The little boy from the tavern and Selene (the werewolf) enter. Ben tries to attack the boy, but the werewolf knocks him out first.

Ben wakes up again. The boy notices and says "Oh good, you're awake," then goes back to whatever he was doing. Ben breaks the bonds that strapped him to the table, but the werewolf pushes him down. The old man (also from the tavern) enters and says the same thing as the boy, then grabs some weird tool and stakes Ben. He then gets the boy to un-obfuscate the werewolf (who is in Crinos form), then sends the boy to get blood for Ben and "Sally." The boy comes back with an intervenus and hooks Ben up while a bunch of other people come. They all perform an elaborate ritual, during which Ben blacks out.

Ben wakes up again and feels completely fine. The old man enters the room ranting about "it" being a success. Ben attacks the man and tries to use celerity (which fails). Next Ben tries to use his potence and bite the old man but that fails as well.

The old man uses modus (his thaumaturgy) to subdue Ben and explains how this is good, he should be honoured to see the sun....ect... and escorts Ben out.

Ben's goals now are to get a normal life, save up some money, then start bombing Global Teck (suicide bombing the old man). Global Teck took everything from him, so all he has left in life is revenge.

*Darren Oswald, 7th Generation Tzimisce (Bryan's new character)

Darren is arriving in Vancouver (on his private jet) for business.

Giuseppe goes to a pay phone and calls his limos. There is no answer from the first one, so he calls the second one. They come to get him. The driver from the first limo (the one Petaro stole) explains what happened. Giuseppe says, "That's fine, let's put this all behind us." He then heads to his private jet at the airport (he wants to go and see the CEO of Global Teck in New York).

Petaro asks the cab driver where to go in town because he's new here. The cab driver (Ron) says the town's shutting down (as it is almost 2am). Petaro then asks if Ron has ever been car-jacked before. Ron says yes, to which Petaro jumps into the front seat. Ron tells Petaro that a friend of his usually has parties, to which Petaro asks where in Canada he could go to party. Ron tells him to try Thunder Bay or Toronto. So Petaro heads to the airport.

Giuseppe runs into Darren outside of their planes. Both decide to go to New York.

Petaro slips onto Darren's plane. He knocks the pilot out, makes him invisible and stuffs him into a closet, then masquerades as the pilot.

Darren tells Petaro to fly to New York, while he will travel in Giuseppe's plane. So Petaro gets the co-pilot to fly because he has something to do (rob the plane). He also moves gets the pilot, ties him up and gags him, then moves him to another part of the plane.

Giuseppe and Darren both discover that they're Tzimisce.

Everyone gets to New York without incident. Once there, Petaro spies another private plane. He brings the pilot out, unties him (as he's still unconscious). Then Petaro becomes invisible, runs across to the other plane, then masquerades like Giuseppe (as a rich pimp) and pretends to come off of the third plane. He starts talking to Darren and Giuseppe (who have both just come off of Giuseppe's plane). They notice that it's getting very close to sunrise, so all three of them go to Darren's house in his limo.

Wednesday, June 9th

Giuseppe wakes up and realizes that Darren's mansion is right next to his. He goes home.

Petaro wakes up, then starts wandering around the house looking for Darren.

Darren wakes up. He goes to talk to Giuseppe, but Giuseppe is gone. (He left the front door wise open). So Darren closes the door and finds Petaro.

Petaro and Darren realize that neither of them have a reason to be in New York without Giuseppe. Darren still has some business in Vancouver, and Petaro asks Darren to help him find Garry in Seattle (the Salubri), so Darren calls some Private Investigators. They will get back to him in a few days.

So Petaro and Darren decide to go hunting. Petaro goes and buys a top for a toilet (the same thing he clubbed the first pilot over the head with). Then Darren and Petaro drive around in Darren's limo, finding people who are by themselves on the streets. They invite the people into the limo then knock them out.

Over a few hours, they manage to kidnap 10 people. They go back to Darren's house to start doing some crazy experiments. (Petaro wants 2 extra legs and 4 extra arms).

And yet, a Great Zmei will wax this thing. Unless, of course, you do the disgusting thing and make this beast the ghoul of a Gangrel Methuselah, thus giving it Potence, Fortitude, and Celerity 4, and maybe Protean 2 for more Agg-dealing powers.

After finishing with Petaro's new limbs, Darren starts making a tentacle body for himself, which took 3 nights to do. During this time, Petaro gets used to his new limbs, kidnaps some people, and goes site seeing (he bought one camera and stole 8 others). Petaro went to the Statue of Liberty and took 87 pictures. He then went to to find a street thug from whom he bought 4 uzis, a shotgun and lots of ammo. (He also took a picture of the street thug). On his way back to Darren's, Petaro sees a corpse with 2 puncture marks on its neck and blood all around. He put the corpse's hands on its crotch and put a smile on its face (with obfuscate), then ran down the street, taking pictures as he went.

*enter Travis, a 7th generation Tremere (Gallow)*

Travis was in New York as a translator for a Spanish guy named Frederick. Frederick wanted to go to the ghetto, where he found the corpse (before Petaro found it). He gets sick, then jumps into his limo and heads back to his hotel. Travis goes back to see the body, which at that time had been tampered with by Petaro. He then decided to go hunting, then head home as no one's really outside with all the kidnappings taking place late at night.

Thursday, June 15th

Travis calls his organization, and is now off until Saturday. Petaro phones a random number and gets Travis. Petaro tells Travis he's been looking for him, so meet him (Petaro) at the corner. Travis agrees.

Petaro turns into a very sexy ckick. He goes to a store and buys salt and glitter. He then goes to meet Travis. Petaro tries to get him to sniff some salt; when he won't, Petaro throws glitter at him then runs away. Travis uses his Thaumaturgy to bring Petaro back and slap her ass. Petaro then turns and shoots Travis in the face with the shotgun.

Petaro runs awayto an alley and changes into a normal looking man. He walks back to Travisand asks about the glitter. When Travis doesn't get what he's talking about, Petaro whips out a mirror to show him, then starts to freak out when he sees that Travis has no reflection.

Petaro gets garlic, but Travis takes a big bite out of it. Petaro then breaks a bench, gets two sticks and makes a cross but to no effect. He then flags down a cop and shows him that Travis has no reflection.

Meanwhile, Darren shows up, bribes the cop and gets Travis to come with him. He tried to invite Petaro (he knew who it was)but Petaro refused.

Instead, Petaro broke into a sporting goods store and stole two pairs of roller blades. He turns into a tough-looking dude, then catches up with the limo and grabs on. He knocks on the door, and Darren lets him in.

After sitting for awhile, Petaro decided he wanted a Lamborgini, so he opened the door and jumped out. He gets an old beater from a used car dealership, and puts a brick on the gas pedal after he's right behind the limo. He jumps out, then the car rams the limo.

Darren was giving Travis flippers. While he was at it, he tried to steal some of Travis' skin to see if that was what gave Travis no reflection.

Petaro finds a better car dealership, so he breaks in and steals a Mercedes. The cops show up and start chasing him (he refuses to pull over). He slams on his brakes so the cops hit the Mercedes. He jumps out and obfuscates, then runs back to Darren's house.

Darren and Travis show up. There's a message from the detective agency in Seattle saying they will fax the info they've found in an hour.

To kill time, Darren tries to attach an eyeball to his palm. He cannot get it to work, so he hires some neuroscientists to tutor him. Petaro and Travis go to target shoot.
