thank you Cain. I realize that Necroscope is entirely derivative and that all of CThULU thinks that it is lower than toilet paper, but I happen to still enjoy the text and think that everyone should attempt to read it. After attempting what they do is their business.  |

Hey...I be no confrotationist. My personal opinion of a book hardly overshadows or trumps someone else, UNLESS they are really trash novels, like the Gor series or something.
Another good author, of FANTASY no less: China Mieville. Wonderful new author, horrificly vigorous and disconcerting worlds of fantasy laced with Marxist class struggle. Good fun!

It's mostly Bryant that hates Necroscope, really. I have real issues with the last three books, but the first two are perfectly alright.
Right now my favourite authors are Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams, and the man himself, H. P. Lovecraft. Douglas Adams' essays are often funnier than the Hitchhiker's Guide trilogy (in five parts.)
