Today I read Manga Claus: The Blade of Kringle. It was kind of like I expected - not as good as the cover suggested. But it was still worth a laugh, so I say it's worth reading. It's not that long, only took me like 20 minutes to read. Honor. Loyalty. Tinsel.

And yes, I did read the story in Autumn Nightmares. I actually finished it right before writing the post about Manga Claus It was very good. The picture gives it away a bit, but it is still very good. It's crazy all the political intrigue within and between the different fae courts (and the different fae for that matter). I feel very sorry for Peter. He must have been terribly obvious for like everyone to find out what he was doing. If anyone else wants to read it, you can find a pdf copy of it here.

YAAAAAAAAAAY!! Now you can give the book back And yeah, I really felt bad for Peter. I don't think anyone really deserves what he got.

well, I'm supposed to be reading Valley of the Dolls by Jacqueline Susann for popular fiction....but I REALLY don't want to....I've been putting it off all weekend....and last night when I got home I decided to finish reading my new Serenity graphic novel Better Days....ah, good old procrastination! (And Chad: less than a week after we went to Chapters, I wandered in with Meghan and the new graphic novel was there!)

Well, I did manage to read over 100 pages of Valley of the Dolls. It's getting better (but I think it is sad that it took about 100 pages before I started to get interested in anything). But I was feeling rather tired, and I hit a good place to stop, so I decided to head to bed. That was 2 hours ago. I wasn't able to sleep, so I started reading some Batman comics that a friend from school lent me....and now I'm not really tired at all! Man, work tomorrow morning is going to suck! But the comics were great - Batman Detective Comics #846-850: Heart of Hush. It's another story with the Villian, Hush. And wow! He managed to kidnap Catwoman and literally steal her heart!!!!
Hopefully I'll be able to get some sleep soon....and then tomorrow it is back to Valley of the Dolls....

I read Club Zero-G (the graphic novel I bought from Chapters for $1). And it definitely isn't worth more than $1 in my opinion. I definitely wasn't a fan. The idea was fantastic, but the execution of said idea fell flat. Also, Bryan, after you read it, check out the 2 star review of it by N. W. Hartung "resistandexsist" here.

yikes. Thats kinda sad really. I'm about 100 pages into Running with the Demon and it is a damn good read. Makes me kinda happy the van asploded. Busing gives me the time I need to read.
