Risk FTW!!
Think I'd like to try original risk though. Don't remember ever playing it.

I've played it once as far as I can remember. Bad memories of it though - the kid who owned it only told us certain rules when he was taking advantage of them). That was a loooong time ago.

The Atlanteans shall rise again!
We fight against the brutal Norse (By way of N. Africa) Regime, for the right to marry our cousins, unsink our conquered homeland, and unclog our underworld.
But mostly the cousin thing.
Godstorm is messed up, yo.

I bought a little game called China: The Middle Kingdom at the Gameshelf a while ago. It looks fun, but fits into that usual category of "I don't know how to play this large, time consuming, intimidating board game."
Also, it required 4 players.
Also, it suggests that you'll need 4 - 10 hours to play it.
Any takers?

sounds like fun....but I'll have to wait a bit to play it. I don't really have time...

With school almost over for the term, and Christmas coming, I think we need to have a board game night/ham party sometime in the coming weeks!
Richard leaves on the 20th, so it'll have to be before that. I was thinking either the 18th or the 19th might work. Papers should all be handed in by then, and it's the weekend so work in the morning will hopefully not be a problem.

Ok. Is no one else interested in a board games night that weekend?

I guess not. Well, if something were to be happening, Saturday night works better for me. I work all day Saturday.

I hear board games are one of my favourite things!
Friday nights and the weekends are generally clear for me. I happen to know Richard's leaving on 20th, sometime during the afternoon...ish.
