The Duros originate in the Duro star system, located at the extreme edge of the Core Region of space. With an almost innate ability for powering planets, the Duros were among the first to be taken from their planet and spread to Coruscant. Whatever the reason for this abduction, the Duros tend to gravitate toward the furnace for burning and planet powering. Their home planet is governed by no one, as Duros learn to hide from all civilized races shortly after they begin to walk and talk.
Personality: A Duros tends to be akward and foolish, always hoping to learn that Coruscant is not at the end of the hyperspace jump. They are proud, combustible, and slightly annoying people who also have a tendency toward stunning people at every chance they get.
Adventurers: Duros adventurers include planet heaters, stun baton abusers, and furnace occupants of all descriptions. They also tend to gravitate the kidnappers, including tie-wrapped and hog-tied people. Some Duros shun furnace-exploration, but really have no choice.
