Well, I am still writing the first draft of Essay #1. It's slow going, (I've only got about 1/5th of it done at the moment) but I think it should speed up a bit. I had a really bad preliminary thesis to start with. I thought it would be okay to write it, then go back and fix the thesis....but the thesis was almost completely unworkable. I now have a better angle which I'm going to use, and already I've been able to work a bit better. I'm still hopeful that I will have a first draft done some time tonight. It might be a bit tough (I still have like 4/5th to write) but we'll see what happens. At worst, I need to have the first draft done by tomorrow night...

All it takes is a bit of momentum in writing. I know that I can be stuck for hours on the first page, then get a spark of creativity and write the rest of the essay in an hour or two. If that fails theres always bribery. . . . or holding the Prof's family hostage.

I'm just about half way done right now. I had some momentum, which got me through to here, but I've sort of lost it. I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to say now. Once I figure that out, I should be okay.

OMG, I've done it!!!!! It has to be a minimum of 2500 words, and I'm there!!!!!! I hit 2502 words, and I am done for the night!!!!! The first draft is done!!!!!!

Well, I have officially started the Halo paper. It's a bit slow going due to excessive research, but at this point I think I have all of the quotes I'll need from the games.

All the quotes you need?? Aww. I liked playing Halo. Well, not so much Halo 2. Ah well. Was fun while it lasted. At least I'll have found memories of being able to play halo.

You'd think that, but you'd be wrong. I suffer a rare psychological condition where I'm only able to play Halo for academic reasons. They're writing a book about it. Its called "The Awesomeness of Bryan: The Man. The Myth. The Mentally Unstable."
