Wow. No one bothered to reply to this thread. Awesome.
School's ok for me....really busy right now. I have a week and a half to write/fix up three papers. Two of them have (crappy) first drafts already written. The last one is the shortest, so I'll be starting it this week.
One of the already started papers was going ok, but I'm way over the word count, so I have to deal with that tomorrow....the other one I wrote the first draft back on Thursday I think, and I haven't gone back to it yet. I'm about three pages short, but I'm not too worried (yet)
I also have to get going writing the thesis (but that'll probably be starting moreso later this week, or else next week once I'm more confident with the three papers) and I have a portfolio coming due in the next month (I'm not sure when yet) that I have to do some major work on.
So it's going alright....I'll just be kind of busy....

Didn't even know it existed  Just wrote a midterm today for Calculus and it was a lot easier then I thought it was going to be. I'm terrified that I have jinxed it by saying that now. . . . Another one coming up on Friday and another next wednesday but thats Discrete and Computer Science, but relatively easy. I hope those are the last ones. Not looking forward to the finals though. |

yeah...well, i don't actually mind the finals....it's just that when they're here it means I have like no time left for my thesis....

How much are your finals worth? My discrete can by up to 57% and we've covered a lot of completely different topics |

i think they're all between the 30-50% range....but I also have a writing portfolio due that's worth a lot of marks....plus we haven't had any marks at all in that class yet....

Ouchy. I'm really not sure if I'm gonna pass some of my classes this year. I hope so. I'm actually studying, but I don't think my studying has made a difference |

Maybe. And I just found out I have Discrete AND Physics midterm this Friday. And I am not understanding a thing thats going on in physics right now. Luckily, one physics midterm gets dropped and I'm pretty sure it's going to be this one for me  |

Otherwise, not much. I'm reading The Emperor's New Mind, which discusses Artificial Intelligence and whether or not it is actually possible.

Well, consciousness can't be reprodiced by classical theory (Newtonian physics). I'm currently being introduced to quantum physics (which isn't nearly as complicated as people make it out to be) so I'll let you know later with regards to that.
