Mirrodin has been out for a bit now. What do you think will be awesome? What will everyone want to get to compete?
one word to start things off: Megatog.

Megatog rocks......(lol, not that ive seen it played). i'm not too familiar with the rares yet, but uncommons: those 2 W 2/2 Cat ppl that fly. And the Ouphe Commons: the pro artifact elves

and I think that the Isocheron Scepter (or however you spell it) will rock.
Imprint a Lightning Bolt....3 damage a turn.....

I was thoroughly impressed with Mirrodin. First off the art was a step up. The card balance ain't bad either. The new creative team they hired up kept balance and made sure people could get a hold of needed staple cards too(ie shatter reprint). Plus a new whirling dervish for each colour, the sliths. Commons didn't blow like scourge's commons. Most rares are actually worthy of being rare, not like older rares like mask of intolerance or pardic miner. Equip is not as bad as I thought it was going to be when I heard the new mechanics. After scourge I thought magic was done, but proved wrong again. Plus I'm a big fan of artifact decks.

And I can't believe they printed that 2/2 for WW. There hasn't been anything that good for a weenie since Mesa Chicken (which is the same thing if you don't mind flapping your arms and clucking like a chicken).

I didn't like Mirrodin, its probably cuz I'm not a big fan of the new card layout.. and there's nothing for my deck really.

I don't know for sure....but it's supposed to be a colour that you can distinguish from white

Card balance isn't bad? Hello Platinum Angel. I played in a draft tourney just after Mirrordon came out and first card drawn was the Platinum. That player won the tourney. *looks to both sides* And I know there were better players there. (not me)

the platinum angel is especially nasty when paired with that new artifact from Dark Steel.....the one that makes all of your artifacts indestructible....the Darksteel Forge
