Ok, so I found this cool card today, Master Apothecary. I wanna make a deck with it, so all i need advice on is what cards I should use and how will I kill someone. So far its gonna look a little like this: 4x Master Apothecary 4x Samite Healer 4x Samite Pilgrim 20x Plains Ok, so what I need help with is, I am looking for some more clerics what tap to prevent damage, or just cheap casting cost ones. If you have any to add plz put the name, set, casting cost and ability. Thnx!  |

You should go for all sorts of cheap clerics that don't tap to prevent damage, 'cause once you have the Apothecary out, they all do it anyway. Go with stuff like Soul Warden, Weathered Wayfarer (the mini Land Tax type guy), Whipgrass Entangler (pay 2W to make a creature unable to attack or block unless they pay 1 for each cleric you control), and the Cleric Avatar with the built in Spirit Link. Other than that, play with all sorts of 1 CC clerics.
I'll post again with more ideas later.

I really dont know of any, and I have none... *sigh* if you have some to get rid of I'd gladly take them off your hands! Even if you could get some from the shelf that would be cool too! That goes for anyone in TBay. |

Blessed orator was quite helpful in my cleric deck. A living parapet ain't bad.
Akroma's Devoted not too shabby. not having to waste tapping for attacking can help out.
Daunting Defender is nice due to the auto prevent 1 dmg for all clerics.
No idea if this helps, the deck seems decided already.

what are some of those clerics abilities?
the glowriders and dedicated can be replaced easily

Akroma's Devoted Attacking doesn't cause clerics to tap. 2/4 cost:3W
Blessed Orator Other creatures you control get 0/+1. 1/4 cost:3W
Daunting Defender If a source would deal damage to a cleric you control, prevent 1 of that damage. 3/3 cost:4W
I found another 2 clerics to think about too:
Zealous Inquistor 1W:the next 1 damage that would be dealt to zealous inquistor this turn is dealt to target creature instead. 2/2 cost:2W
Ancestor's Chosen first strike When Ancestor's Chosen comes into play, you gain 1 life for each card in graveyard. 4/4 cost:5WW

But, if you're adding more expensive clerics, you probably want to have 24 plains so you can cast them.
