Hey, I was wondering if anyone has read the books for Lorwyn? Are they any good? What Magic Plane do they take place on? I was reading this article and now I am intrigued....

wow, I'm so out of Magic....so it's Lorwyn, Morningtide, then Shadowmoor, right? What's the whole block called? (I'm getting confused while looking at the book titles)

No idea, but what little I read it sounds neat. Very dark too. I might have to pick up a copy of the three. . .

that's what I'm planning on doing.....I bought the Shadowmoor anthology today from the Bookshelf....I'm not sure when I'll get a hold of the other three....but I figure I'll read a story or two from the various magic anthologies I have by the authors....check them out first before I buy all three....
lol, I hope that made sense!
I also figure I'll check out the anthology first - see if I like that before I get the other three
I think the book trilogy for the block is Lorwyn, Morningtide and Eventide. Eventide isn't out yet. I got confused when I was looking at the Chapters website - it says Eventide is Shadowmoor Cycle book 2, with Shadowmoor as book 1, but like I said, Shadowmoor is an anthology.
Also, Eventide doesn't come out till like June, so we have time...

I asked Alex....it seems that Lorwyn was a 2 set block (Lorwyn and Morningtide), with Shadowmoor as a second 2 set block (I guess that would be Shadowmoor and Eventide?). Both blocks take place in the same plane.
So book wise, I think there is one trilogy for the two blocks (I'm not positive though) made up of Lorwyn, Morningtide and Eventide. The Shadowmoor book is an anthology taking place on the same plane, but specifically for the Shadowmoor block.
I think what happens is Lorwyn is a happy sunny place. Then something called the Great Aurora happens, and Lorwyn is plunged into darkness, becoming Shadowmoor. At least that's my understanding of things so far.

Oh there better be 6. If there isn't I am so going to boycott them! Well, not all of them, but I refuse to purchase the ones that they refuse to print!. That will show them.
