Arilght that was a bit trippy. I was reading the last post, then read the one above it and am like, "WTF is this?!" I look over at the author of it and thought, "WTF?!?!?!?! I didn't write this! Someone (likely Angry) hacked my account! WTF!" Then I looked at when it was posted, and slowly remember that I THINK I wrote it (it was in January). I still don't have a completely recollection of it.

Co-op mode. . . 4 players

Oh, and there is a quasi-map editor called Forge. You can't actually edit the map (change terrain or anything) but what you can do is place weapons, vehicles, change ammo drops etc.

You can also do multi player forge and hop between running around and editing. So if someone is building a pyramid of fusion reactors (or something) you can hop into game, lob a grenade and blow up their hard work

Also allows for neat multiplayer opportunities. System link with say 6 people, 3 per TV. 2 teams. Each team has someone in Forge plopping down vehicles and weapons for their team mates. You can also have someone on an object and the person in forge grab and move that object around. Weee surfing!

Gamespy has a review going. This caught my eye


While attempting to jump a Mongoose off of one of the Valhalla multiplayer map's man-cannons, we discovered that you could slam the vehicle (and flailing driver) into the stratosphere by smacking it with a well-timed blow of the Gravity Hammer (a new weapon favored by the massive Covenant Brutes in the single-player campaign). To our surprise, this behavior extended to everything hit with the Gravity Hammer, including rockets fired from the rocket launcher.

In no time, we had set up a make-shift baseball diamond on one side of Valhalla with a batter using a Gravity Hammer swatting at "pitches" thrown by Will and his rocket launcher. If you missed a pitch, there were no strike-outs, only charred Spartan remains and chunks of singed Mjolnir armor. We had turned Halo 3 into an incredibly entertaining baseball game thanks to The Forge.
