I did it. I beat Halo 3 on Legendary. Brutes. . . .suck. I hate them with a passion!!!! ESPECIALLY the ones with fuel rod cannons. 2 direct sticky grenades and. . . . their helmet is still on. GAH!!!
I'm looking forward to going through the game on easy and just whooping ass. Oh, and there is extra ending for beating it on legendary after the credits, after you see Master Chief again. It's not much but its very ominous. I am really curious as to what is happening next.

Well, you can keep em for now. I got halo1 saved on my xbox and halo 2 is less then 1 or 3. Bring em next time we do an xbox thingy again.

Ok....I was playing Halo 3 on Legendary last night.....and I made it through three levels without too much problem. Do the brutes get harder as you go? Cause I didn't find them that bad. The worst part so far was today - I was playing this part with a bunch of brutes, and that was going ok.....and then the tank wanders over.....

Hehe, ya. I remember that spot. I spent hours trying to kill the tank (I auto saved just after wasting my sniper rifle). Would just about kill all the supporting brutes then WHAM, fuel rod cannon to the face. I figured it out though. . .run away real fast. I think that was the hardest part for me. Hardest parts were where it auto saved right before I faced a gold armored brute without zooming weapon  |

ah, yeah, that would do it. Especially if its a gold elite with a hammer....although the turret guns deal with that pretty well, too...
