Alright, I'll post here just to let everyone know what's going on with my thesis....
This week, I have to write the first draft of my proposal...so I'll probably be rather busy with that (once I get started)

So, it looks like I might be deferring my thesis to next year. I have to talk to my supervisor this wednesday about thatm though.

wow....I really should've updated this long before now.... so I had wonderful plans to make my thesis bigger and better. I was going to get a clinical sample, and look more at eating disorders. Well, over the course of the summer, that failed to happen. First, my advisor was out of town for June. Not too big a deal. But then we couldn't get in contact with the lady we needed to from the Eating Disorders clinic. Then, my grandfather passed away, so I had to cancel a meeting with my advisor. This wouldn't have been a big deal....except she then went out of town until school started. So, having lost most of the summer, we have decided to work on improving the original thesis idea. So I am getting ready to write up the proposal (yay!)  At least, if it gets passed by ethics, I won't have to do any data collection, so we can just run the analyses and get going on writing the actual thesis up. |

Well, this is rather long overdue, but today (actually just now) I finished Draft 6! I emailed a copy off to my advisor, and just finished printing out a hard copy to hand in tomorrow.
Now it's time for some sleep....

Okay.....that last draft (Dec. 3) was Draft 6....
Draft 7 was supposed to be the final draft of the proposal....but I had some formatting errors when I printed it off (I printed it off at like 5am and was all mad at that point - I talked to my advisor the next day and she told me to hand it in anyway). So that was just before Christmas.
Since that time, I finished Draft 8 (last week) and handed that in. I have just received word today that not only did my advisor say it was okay, but she handed it to my second reader, and he also approved it! This means the proposal is headed to ethics tomorrow!!!!! Hopefully it will pass, which will mean that in a week or two, I should be able to start working with the data (and working on the actual thesis write up!!!!!!!)

I guess I should update this....
after a bit of technical difficulties, we ran the analysis! So now I just have to write it up (and probably revise it a few times) then I'm done!!!!!
