Alright, alright.
*Catches breadth*
I just finished the first draft. So far it's 14,110 words. It's a far cry from 50,000 but whatever. The story itself is done, so now its time to add the bulk of it, the flavor that turns a story into a novel.

yay! you have a story! ;D but aren't you supposed to just write and keep writing until dec 1 or 50,000 words? I thought that's what the month was all about? (I don't mean to detract from your story at all - 14,000 words is a lot to write! but I'm honestly just wondering) make sure you at least take a nap - you don't want to lose any days of writing!

Yes the point is to keep writing. Unfortunately the storyline itself is quite short. There are a great deal of things that I skipped over while I wrote because I simply wanted to get the story on paper. Besides, its not like I'm editing anything, just putting in actual character interaction. The fact that there is a bit of a love story in it without there really being a reason for it helps to illustrate my point. Now, time to write philosophy papers
