I was wondering if anybody here saw "The Passion of Christ" and if so what did you think. Personally I thought it was good and that the whole anti-semetic thing is totally off, I mean would a german complain about how they're portrayed in any WW2 flick? Nope. But anyways before a Tangent begins, any body else?

I'm surprised no one else ever replied to this. All right, I'll take a stab at it...
I thought the whole anti-semetic thing was bogus from the first time I heard it. Seeing the movie for myself only confirmed that for me.
Overall, I thought it was a very powerful movie, very well done in most aspects, however, I thought the very end could've been done a bit better. I thought that after the crucifixion, it could've just faded to black, maybe with some quotes from the New Testament about how Jesus rose. My knowledge of the Bible isn't very good, but I also kinda wondered about the appearances of Satan.
What really frightened me, though, was the fact that there were some YOUNG kids in the theatre with me. This movie made me look away from the screen a few times, no easy feat, and I wondered about the effects it would have on some of those kids. I also found myself wondering, rather morbidly, I'll admit, if any senior citizens had heart attacks while viewing the movie.
