I guess that some good comes out of explosions then.
And yes, it is a great book. I really liked it. Although I don't remember it super well (I remember the basic story though)

Wow, this just isn't my week! I brute-forced my way through the novelization of 52, a comic series, by Greg Cox. And it was boring. I didn't care like all the way through. I really should have stopped reading it about 5 days ago, but I got stubborn. At least I got to see some hard core characters.

Aw, image didn't load I'm assuming its of the four horsemen on your blog cause that was a freakin sweet picture. Also, that Superman: Emperor Joker review looked good. Everything Joker should be good though. I mean, its Joker!! And I'm still reading Running with the Demon. I'm just reading a little bit each time I'm on the bus, so I'll probably finish it by the end of the month. About half way through and things are starting to get spicy!

Yeah, it was the Four Horsemen picture. I don't know why it isn't showing up here. Oh well. ALMOST everything Joker is good. I read one story that wasn't very good. But I think that was because the writer wasn't that great. Everything else with the Joker has been awesome And yes, Running with the Demon ROCKS!!!! And now, to quote from the awesome book: " SAD TIMES Bigfoot get real down sometimes. Hard not to. Bigfoot give best of self to world and still get treat like shit. Wonder what point in trying? Why Bigfoot go on? Then I remember. It totally crystal-clear. Me totally look awesome on camera." -Bigfoot (Bigfoot: I Not Dead) (Yes, I bought it today).

YES!!!!! You bought it!!! You are my freaking hero!!!!!!
Also, finished Running with the Demon. I got to the last hundred pages and just had to finish. I absolutely loved the ending.
*SPOILER* It left me kinda wanting, but it was so completely . . . real. It was a victory, but not THE victory. There wasn't a thousand year of peace. John didn't finally end his journey or find a companion to ease his pain, and Nest's future is still unknown. I loved it. [/background] *END SPOILER*

Glad you liked it! I don't know if you're planning on reading anymore in the series, but here is my opinion on it: I didn't like the next book in the series very much (A Knight of the Word). But I loved Angel Fire East!

Oh I plan on it. I'll probably end up reading Knight of the Word just for completionist sakes. First though, I need to read Orphans of Chaos. I'll update you when I get a hundred or so pages into it.

I'm always kinda amazed how fast you read books. Reminds me of when I was not but a wee tot. O' the good old days. To be young again. Le' sigh.

Well, I decided on the Eternals. It was a pretty good read (well, it's a Gaiman. What else did you expect?) My one complaint is that it feels like it should be its own universe, but for some bizarre reason, the powers that be in Marvel Comics demanded that it get shoe-horned into the Marvel Universe. This is Gaiman's attempt to fix the series, to give the characters a reason to be around and doing what they're doing. I mean, a bunch of superpowered people is not all that special in a universe where there are already tons of superpowered people running around. But it was fun and worth reading.
