I understand. Where are you for the summer, btw?
Oh, I finished Thunder Rift. I read some other book that I got from the Library (I can't remember the title....it was something like "Why They Didn't Call When They Said They Would") and am currently reading Orson Scott Card's Enchantment. (It's a fantasy that has Baba Yaga in it!)

I'm in Guelph at my g/f Katie's parent's place. I don't really have a gaming group around here, so I'm stuck reading.
I finished R.A. Salvatore's Cleric Quintet. It was really good. I don't know why he doesn't do more stuff like that rather than beating Drizzt to death.
That and Master of Whitestorm by Janny Wurts. It wasn't a bad read, but it could have had better continuity. It seemed more like a bunch of short stories strung together rather than a novel.
Oh and has anyone realized how horrible it is to need to type: Moby D1ck in order to list the Title of Herman Melville's classic on my reading list? Someone has to fix that censor.

ok, the censor's fixed (or it should be)
I finished Enchantment...it was a really good read. I might start The Golden Cat by Gabriel King....but I just found out that it's a sequel to another book, so I might not. We'll see.

I started the Golden Cat, but decided I didn't want to read it atm. So I read a Dragonlance book (The Dargonesti) which was pretty good, and have just started Summon the Keeper by Tanya Huff.
What do you think of Eddings, btw? I've only read a few of his books, but I enjoyed them. (I know a lot of ppl online that absolutely hate his stuff)

I just finished reading Stardust by Neil Gaiman. Awesome book.
Now I'm sort of re-reading the Preacher comic series, and may plunge through my H.P. Lovecraft collection again.

I've been working my way through Dianetics right now(L Ron Hubbard ain't that dynamic though as far as writing style) but that lead to pick up "The Rose of The Prophet"(this is name of the trilogy) by Weis and Hickman and I must say impressive so far.
I also recommend "The Island of The Sequined Love Nun" by Christopher Moore, for anyone whose enjoyed any Douglas Adams-estque zany writings.

other than this year's batch of text books, I've skimmed through Hunter: the Reckoning. I'm hoping to read Exile's Honour and Exile's Valor (both by Mercedes Lackey) asap!

I just finished "Left Hand of Darkness" by Ursula LeGuin. It was an odd sort of SF novel. Nevertheless it's worth reading at least once.
