Wow, I'm so angry right now! I talked to someone from academic advising (the same lady I talked to back before I graduated). Previously she told me that I would be able to get a BA in English because I am just a couple of credits short. So I based my life this year around that - I reactivated my student id (which involved reapplying - what a pain!) And now talking to her today, she says the University won't[/b] because I already graduated. Apparently the university doesn't like giving lesser degrees out to people who already have a better one. I'm so mad right now!!!!!
I'm going to phone the registrar tomorrow and see what I can do.

So does that mean that you went back to school, and paid money, for nothing? Oh, I do not envy whoever works at the registrar tomorrow

Well, luckily the crisis is averted. They do not award the actual parchment degree, but it is noted on your transcript. So I will in fact have a degree in English. I just won't have the piece of paper saying I have it. They only give you one piece of paper saying you have an undergraduate degree in Arts (so I could get one in Science if I wanted to).
As long as it is acknowledged that I have in fact earned the second degree, I am happy.

Which means you don't have to pay the, what, $80? for getting your diploma engraved, yes? So this might be even better
