What do you guys think of this? I wrote it for English class a few days ago, and its due monday. (I think the ending needs work)
What I See
There’s a clearing surrounded by evergreens. The grass is just turning to its gown of green after winter’s blanket of snow; some of the grass clings to its yellow shade, not yet ready for summer’s dance.
The clearing is littered with boulders, seemingly strewn about by the ancient passage of the glaciers. Their light colour stands in stark contrast to the green and gold of the surrounding grasses. Amid the grasses and boulders lies a little pond, mirroring in its clear waters the beauty of the land and sky around it. The sky, like the boulders, stands in stark contrast to the trees, which stand like sentinels, silent watchers in a harsh yet beautiful land.
Beauty is everywhere in the world. You just have to really look around to find it.
