Well, first of all, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!!
We got back from Winnipeg a few hours ago. It was a lot of fun (well, except the long drive home). We went Saturday and came back today. Sunday was a shopping day...we went to places like Costko (sp?), the Superstore, Hangers (it's kind of like Winners) and to this Comic store for me to buy some Magic Cards (I think it's called Galaxy Comics). Then we went to see the Phantom of the Opera after supper! It was pretty cool; I've never really gone to the theatre before! The costumes were amazing, but their sound system sucked (individually their voices were awesome, but altogether they drowned each other out). It was kind of weird though, too.....I'm not used to following what everyone says in a song.
Monday we went to the Forks for a bit more shopping, then to this casino where my cousin works. The casino was really cool (but somewhat depressing). I played a slot machine for the first time ever and won $30! (We of course then cashed out and left). We had a really nice Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt's house, then my cousin and I (and later our famillies) played Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture Edition.
Altogether, I had a really great time.
