In honor of Ringo, I shall read this peom, which may or may not be original:
Nought is there under heaven's wide hollowness,
That moves more compassion of mind,
Then beauty brought to unworthy wretchedness,
Through Envy's snares or Fortune's freaks unkind.
I, whether lately through Ringo's brightness blind,
Or through allegiance and fast fealty,
Of which I do owe unto all fishdom kind,
Feel my heart perst with so great agonie, when such I see,
That all for pity I could die.
